Edward is the owner of Last Frontiers, specialists in tailor made holidays to Latin America. Before setting up Last Frontiers almost 30 years ago, he farmed for 10 years in South America (in Venezuela and Brazil) and has visited virtually every country in Central and South America. His most recent trip took him to Chile to witness the solar eclipse, and he will shortly be heading to Argentina to check things out ready for next years solar eclipse.
Edward Paine will describe the remote corners of the continent best explored by small expeditionary boat: the Antarctic peninsula; the glacier-fed fjords that stretch north from Tierra del Fuego to western Patagonia; the 'enchanting' Galapagos islands; and the wildlife-rich tributaries of the mighty Amazon.
