Thea Darricotte is Freelance Journalist. Her career began with newspapers starting at The Evening Standard before gravitating towards magazines. At Conde Nast she worked on Brides and Easy Living before becoming Executive Editor at Conde Nast Traveller where she worked for five years covering travel, fashion and spas and managing the awards ceremonies. Here Thea grew the Events side of the magazine to incorporate Traveller’s Tales a series of intimate evenings featuring intrepid travelers with fantastic stories. She also directed the magazine’s first in-house Travel Journalism Course for enthusiastic would-be writers from around the world.
Now as a Freelancer, Thea continues to write for magazines and is working on her first novel which ironically has very little to do with travel.
