Established in 1999, PolarQuest has become a world-leading operator of small ship expedition cruises in Svalbard. Our three expedition ships, designed specifically for Arctic waters, accommodate either 12 and 50 passengers. Such small vessels provide a distinctly different experience compared to larger cruise ships. Just imagine – viewing a seal on an ice floe with a group of only 10-50 passengers, as opposed to being in a group of 150-500! Moreover, small ships have the advantage of accessing some of the most remote areas and navigating narrow fjords.
