Rick Jordan is a contributing editor at Condé Nast Traveller, a title he has spent two decades working for. During that time he has travelled around South-East Asia, island hopped from Madeira to Malta, eaten his way around more Cotswolds pubs-with-rooms than he cares to remember, and learnt how to waltz in Vienna. His first oceanic voyage was at the age of two when he sailed from Sierra Leone to Southampton with his parents; more recent seafaring exploits have seen him take the polar plunge in Antarctica and spot the northern lights in Arctic Norway.
